The Arts Society
The National Association of Decorative & Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS) changed its name earlier this year to The Arts Society.
This London based organisation, which is planning its 50th Anniversary year in 2018, is a leading arts charity which opens up the world of the arts in all its many forms through a network of local Societies (including our own Ashridge DFAS) and national events.
The Arts Society in the UK works to advance decorative and fine arts education and appreciation, alongside promoting the conservation of our artistic heritage.
With inspiring monthly lectures given by some of the country's top experts, together with days of special interest, educational visits and cultural holidays, being involved with The Arts Society is a great way to learn, have fun and make new and lasting friendships.
Society Members and Affiliate Members can also become involved in worthwhile conservation volunteering projects in churches, museums, castles and stately homes. There are 360 Societies throughout the UK and mainland Europe, as well as in Australia and New Zealand, so join us and discover all that The Arts Society has to offer.
