ADFAS Evenings February 2020 with Tring School exhibition
February 4th 2020 saw ADFAS Evenings hosting Tring School's Pop-Up Art Exhibition provided to us by Students Grace Mason and Harriet Atkinson using a variety of media and techniques.
This Exhibition was erected on the night and their work was appreciated by members of our group who were able to discuss the inspiration for the youngsters' efforts.
In total on the night, we were very pleased to welcome ten students from Tring School plus the occasional parent!

This picture reflects the ADFAS Evenings 'Health and Safety' material being shown before the talk! Grace Mason can be seen in the background talking to some of our members.
Our members seen here enjoying the work on show over a complimentary glass of wine. This evening's talk saw the highest number of attendees so far this year.
Our thanks go to Yasmine Holm-Cain fresh from her photography course at Tring for taking these pictures on the night!
Our Chairman Julie Griffiths seen here introducing the evening's speaker Hilary Guise on the topic of Embracing Brokeness reflecting the effects of various artists anticipating the dilemmas in the run up to the First World War.
As part of our role is to encourage students from the local schools to benefit from both seeing the work of other schools and also to benefit for listening to the speaker topic. March sees Astley Cooper School in Hemel Hempstead put on their Pop-Up exhibition.
