Another Bursary for a pupil from Tring School
The ADFAS Committee received an impressive email from Daisy Berry, who has secured herself a place at the prestigious Royal Drawing School in London, querying if we could help support her in her first year there.
Daisy had just completed her sixth form studies at Tring School.
We were so impressed with her initiative that we are granting Daisy an ADFAS Bursary funded by the increased Membership of the combined Society - which obviously results in additional Young Arts funding for youngsters like Daisy!
Daisy and her father Steve Berry (who by the way is Tring's Town Crier!) kindly joined us in Potten End Village Hall on the 28th (where we were having our September meeting with an excellent talk on the Treasures of the Silk Road) so that our ADFAS Membership Secretary, Valerie Gunn, MC for this event and our Young Arts Co-ordinator, Pam Langdon-Pratt could present Daisy both with her bankable cheque and a slightly larger version for the photo-opportunity below!

Daisy kindly located some of her work for ADFAS and this is shown below.
